Crystal Alum, also known as Aluminum Sulfate, is a highly effective water clarifier widely used in swimming pools, water treatment plants, and industrial applications. In its crystalline form, alum appears as transparent or white granules that dissolve easily in water to perform coagulation—a process that binds fine particles and impurities together so they can be easily removed through filtration or vacuuming.

When added to pool water, crystal alum causes suspended particles, dirt, and organic matter to clump together and settle at the bottom, leaving the water visibly clearer and sparkling clean.
